Spring brings excitement to the edible‑plant area — and a rush of shoppers who want clear guidance, quick answers, and confidence in their choices. But keeping benches tidy, consistent, and easy to navigate can be a challenge, especially when staff are stretched thin. The Kitchen Garden Collection gives you a coordinated, ready‑to‑print system that takes the heavy lifting off your team’s shoulders while creating a polished, intuitive shopping experience your customers will love.

With 114 beautifully designed bench cards, 44 coordinating price‑sign templates, and 5 helpful bonus signs, this collection brings clarity to even the busiest weekends. Customers can quickly find what they’re looking for, understand the differences between varieties, and make confident decisions without relying on staff for every question. It’s a simple way to reduce interruptions, streamline your workflow, and keep your edible‑plant area looking organized from open to close.

But the transformation goes deeper than efficiency. These signs bring a curated, boutique feel to your displays—the kind of professional design most garden centers want but rarely have the time or budget to create. Many stores have never hired a graphic designer, not because they don’t value great design, but because it’s felt out of reach. This collection changes that. It gives you access to a level of beauty and cohesion that elevates your entire space, creating that “wow” moment for customers and a sense of pride for your team.

Whether you’re a single‑location shop or part of a multi‑store operation, the Kitchen Garden Collection helps you present a unified, polished look across all your edible‑plant benches. And because you’ll have continued access to all materials, it becomes a long‑term resource you can reprint, refresh, and rely on year after year—a little bit of treasure you didn’t think was possible, now fully within reach.

Bring a curated, botanical feel to your herb, vegetable, and small‑fruit benches with signage that’s as beautiful as it is functional. Inside this comprehensive collection, you’ll find:

You are purchasing a limited license to use the artwork, not actual ownership of the artwork. This limited license should more than cover your needs, but the license stipulates that the products cannot be shared with anyone, nor re-sold in any part, and no elements extracted, re-purposed, and/or used in a new design. The artwork can be sent to a print vendor or a design contractor, but only for the purpose of providing minor customization (like adding your logo and updating templates) or for printing your order. The fonts, illustrations, and/or photos that may comprise these products belong to the artists who created them, and the Stylish Sign Shop (licensee: Liz King) is allowed limited use under strict license compliance and fees to use those elements in our designs. The designs created from those assets are also unique to Stylish Sign Shop’s design and they belong solely and exclusively to Stylish Sign Shop.

Your license will depend on the annual income revenues of your business. The Standard License applies to businesses who have an annual income below $10 million USD in revenues. The Premium License applies to businesses who have an annual income above $10 million USD in revenues. If you are buying a license for personal use of the artwork, select the Standard License option.

Both types of licenses permit use of the artwork for two end-users only, and they must be employed or contracted by your company. Contractors may not retain the artwork on their systems beyond the work you hired them to do (e.g., add a logo to your signs), and artwork may not be used in any manner that violates this license (it cannot be shared, re-sold, elements extracted in any part, nor used in a new design).

If you have questions about the licensing requirements, please contact the Stylish Sign Shop at info@stylishsignshop.com.

1. Refresh your metal sign holders with a boutique look

Most garden centers use galvanized metal sign holders (like Colmet), which are sturdy but visually plain. A quick coat of spray paint in a warm neutral — charcoal gray, mushroom brown, or sage green — instantly elevates the look. Or for a more playful look, choose a bright tomato red or an eggplant purple paint color! It’s an inexpensive off‑season project that makes your edible‑plant area feel curated, intentional, and fresh.

2. Add pops of color to brighten early‑season displays

Vegetable starts are mostly green in spring, long before fruiting begins. Adding colorful accents to your displays like bright yellow, red, or orange pots or garden decor (colors that remind shoppers of those bright veggies), along with early-blooming marigolds, violas, pansies, or primula brings energy and visual interest to the benches. Companion flowers like marigolds also tie naturally into vegetable gardening, making them easy to cross‑sell.

3. Cross‑merchandise essentials near the benches

Pair plants with the products shoppers need: tomato cages, trellises, organic fertilizers, soil amendments, plant ties, watering cans, slug/snail controls.

A small, tidy display of these items near the plants boosts convenience and sales.
